General Information

§  Last day to register to vote is Monday, October 7, 2024
§   Deadline for applying to vote by mail - Friday, October 25, 2024
§  Early Voting Period is Monday, October 21, 2024 – Friday, November 1, 2024
§  General Election date is Tuesday, November 5, 2024
§  Mail Ballots postmarked on or before Tuesday, November 5, 2024, by 7PM must be received no later than Wednesday, November 6, 2024

Voter ID Requirements
Make sure you have 1 of the 7 following acceptable forms of identification:

§  Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
§  Texas Election ID Certificate issued by DPS
§  Texas Personal ID Card  issued by DPS
§  Texas Handgun License issued by DPS
§  U.S. Citizenship Certificate with Photo
§  U.S. Military ID Card with Photo
§ U.S. Passport (Book or Card)

Voting by Mail
To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:

§  be 65 years or older;
§  be disabled;
§  be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
§  be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

If you meet one of the above eligibility requirements, you may submit an Application for Ballot By Mail (ABBM).
